Barrel flags aren’t for you to keep your gun from firing, or to keep others from firing your gun. It’s so other people can see your weapon is safe from far away. Then they don’t have to reclear you. This is stupid

Absolutely agree that you should NOT go cheap on the holster. It is what is holding and securing your firearm to your body. Don’t take chances.

I'm a 68 yr old relatively new to shooting.Pulling back the slid isn't a problem.But none of the slide release buttons drop when i pull the slide back as you've demonstrated here, unless a magazine has been removed from the gun.I must pull down the button with my thumb on all 5 semi's I own when loaded. Am I missing something?

Geez all you try hard and boomers don’t understand how useful this is for training. My security team uses them for our scenario trainings so that we have an orange visual of a clear and inert gun when it’s being pointed at you and easy to clear everyone beforehand. I’ve had a guy come in with a loaded mag and a barrel block. If I had not seen the loaded mag during clearing this would have been a lifesaving backup measure. Keep hating while living in your moms basement thinking you’re a soldier

Great, fast way to rack, but I use a method that generates more torque, employing the wrists to aid grip strength. Instead of gripping behind the ejection port, place your hand over it, with your thumb behind it and your fingers forward of it on the other side. As you pull the slide back, twist to oppose the hand on the grip like you're opening a jar. This really helps with weak or sore hands. I came up with this method after having the end of my ring finger cut off and sewn back on. It's the only way I could rack for nearly a year.

Or don't be dumb and let someone else handle your weapon while doing drills...1st thing is make sure it's safe..
